Facade and Shading Report 2026 published
Ferrini has published the Facade and Shading Report 2026, an anonymised analysis of its production, order and export records. The report is based on some 579,000 units produced between January 2015 and June 2026 and can be downloaded free of charge (in Turkish).
What is in the report?
The report combines two kinds of information: Ferrini's own production, order and export data, and research compiled on regulation, standards and the European market. It covers the whole range of facade products, from roller shutters and zip screens to glass balconies, aluminium and PVC windows, pergolas, sun louvres and awnings.
Key findings
- The number of product types in regular production rose from 4 in 2015 to 14 in 2024.
- Annual output grew from 45,000 units in 2015 to 82,000 units in 2025.
- The roller shutter share of output fell from 93% to 52% as zip screens, glass balconies, windows and pergolas joined the range.
- The share of zip screens produced with a motor rose from 54% in 2020 to 98% in 2025.
- The share of coastal tourism provinces in output rose from 8% to 32%.
How to read it
The data comes from a single manufacturer; it does not represent the whole Turkish market and the Aegean region carries a large weight. The report is therefore not a market measurement but a reading of the sector based on production records.
