Under Turkish Law 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, this notice explains why and for how long we process the personal data collected through ferrini.com, who we share it with, and what to do to exercise your rights.

2. The personal data we process

There is no sign-in, membership or purchase on this site. Personal data is collected only when you fill in a form or contact us:

Identity and contact data — the name, e-mail, telephone, company name and city you give in the contact, dealership, career and newsletter forms.
Content of your enquiry — what you write in the message field; for a job application, the CV you send and the information in it.
Transaction security data — the IP address and timestamp recorded in the server log when a form is submitted.
Usage data — visit statistics collected through cookies, ad measurement data if you consent, and the record of your cookie choice (random consent number, date, choice); the detail is in the Cookie Policy.

3. Why we process it

To answer your requests, quotations and questions, and to direct you to your nearest authorised dealer.
To assess dealership and partnership applications.
To assess job applications for open positions and to run our recruitment process.
With your consent, to send you e-mail announcements about new systems, trade fairs and dealer campaigns.
To keep the site secure and to prevent abuse and unwanted form submissions.
To meet our obligations under applicable law.

4. Legal basis and how we collect it

Your personal data is collected through the forms on ferrini.com, by e-mail and by telephone, through automated or partly automated means. The legal bases are those in Article 5 of the Law: for answering your request and application, that it is directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract; for site security and keeping a record of applications, our legitimate interest; for retention and notification duties, our legal obligation; and for the newsletter and non-essential cookies, your explicit consent.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. Apart from the ad measurement data that goes to Google when you consent to advertising cookies, we do not pass it to third parties for marketing. We share it only in the following cases and only as far as the purpose requires:

Our authorised dealers — so that your measuring, quotation or installation request can be met, limited to the relevant dealer and to your request.
Our service providers — the suppliers of our hosting, e-mail, site statistics and ad measurement (Google) services, only as far as the service requires.
Competent public authorities — where required by law.

Google Analytics, Google Ads and Ahrefs Analytics, which we use for site statistics and ad measurement, run on servers outside Türkiye; that transfer rests on the explicit consent you give for non-essential cookies and covers only the usage data described in the Cookie Policy.

6. How long we keep it

Contact and quotation forms: 2 years from the conclusion of the request.
Dealership applications: 2 years from the end of the assessment.
Job applications and CVs: 1 year from the date of application; unsuccessful applications are deleted at the end of that period.
Newsletter subscription: until you unsubscribe.
Server logs (IP, timestamp): 6 months.
Cookie consent records: 3 years.

When the period ends or the reason for processing disappears, your personal data is erased, destroyed or anonymised. Where the law prescribes a longer retention period, that period applies.

7. Your rights

Under Article 11 of the Law you may apply to the data controller and ask to:

Learn whether your personal data is processed and, if so, request information about it.
Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose.
Know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom the data is transferred.
Have incomplete or inaccurate data corrected.
Have the data erased or destroyed within the conditions set out in the Law.
Have correction, erasure and destruction notified to the third parties to whom the data was transferred.
Object to a result against you arising from analysis of the data solely by automated systems.
Claim compensation if you suffer damage because the data was processed unlawfully.

8. How to apply

Send your request, together with information that allows us to verify your identity, by e-mail to [email protected] or in writing to Kazım Karabekir Mah. 6. Cd. No:10/1, Pancar OSB, 35865 Torbalı / İzmir, Türkiye. We conclude your application free of charge within 30 days at the latest; where the process involves a cost, the fee set in the tariff of the Personal Data Protection Board may be charged.
