Cassette Awning
The CST 4100 cassette awning offers exceptional versatility for wide openings. The fabric is protected inside the cassette from dirt and weather; with a choice of fabrics and optional integrated LED lighting it creates an elegant shaded area.
In a cassette awning the fabric and arms retract into a closed cassette, protected from rain, dust and sun when not in use, which extends the life of the fabric. The CST 4100 spans wide openings in a single unit, and the arm projection sets how far the shade reaches. Different fabrics and integrated LED lighting make the terrace usable in the evening too.

Closed, the fabric, arms and mechanism disappear completely inside the aluminium cassette; only a slim 270 × 220 mm profile remains on the façade. With motorised operation, remote control and optional LED lighting it turns balconies, terraces and gardens into living space for every season.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between a cassette awning and a folding-arm awning?
A cassette awning protects the fabric and arms inside a closed box when not in use and is motorised; a folding-arm awning also keeps the fabric in a cassette but is hand-cranked, which makes it the more economical option.
Can a cassette awning be used in wind?
In light wind, yes; in strong wind the awning must be retracted. With a wind sensor the motor closes the awning automatically.
What is a window awning (Wintent) used for?
A window awning is a drop-arm awning that provides vertical shading for window and façade openings.
What sizes is the cassette awning made up to?
The CST 4100 model is made up to 7000 mm wide with a 3000 mm projection. The cassette measures 270 × 220 mm; the fabric is protected inside it when closed.
Can LED lighting be added later?
The LED is planned into production, integrated into the arm and the cassette; adding it later means dismantling the system. If evening use is intended, it is best stated when ordering.
