Roof Zip Screen (Zipline Sky-S)
Zipline Sky-S is a roof screen system that works on any slope; it blocks the sun over winter gardens, glass roofs and pergolas and makes the space below liveable in every season. It spans 6 metres horizontally and up to 24 m² in a single unit.
A roof zip screen is installed horizontally or on a slope over a glass roof or pergola; it stops the sun before it reaches the glass, so the space underneath stays usable in summer. Zipline Sky-S works at any pitch and spans up to 6 m horizontally in one piece. The zipped edge locks the fabric into the guide, so it does not sag and no light leaks at the edges.
Its sizes side by side with the vertical zip screen that runs down the facade are in the zip screen comparison; on most terraces the two are used together.
Roof Zip Screen (Zipline Sky-S)
Sky-S is a zip screen designed for flat and sloping roofs. The fabric travels zipped inside the two side guide profiles; the spring system in the bottom profile keeps it taut in every position, so the fabric never sags in the middle. New-generation heavy profiles bring larger spans, updated connection details and a modern box design.
The Zipline roof screen system is installed over winter gardens, glass roofs, skylights and pergolas on restaurants, cafés, shopping malls, villas and homes. It is operated by remote control or wall switch; the extra-protective fabric is produced to resist impact, water, sun and snow.

Fabric and colour
Special fabrics are used in our systems. These Copaco and Serge Ferrari fabrics are designed for outdoor conditions; see the fabric catalogue for colour options. All aluminium parts can be painted in RAL colours or wood-transfer coated. On request, any image or text suited to the fabric colour and print quality can be printed on the fabric.

Sky-S ships knocked down: the screen box comes in a 220 × 300 mm carton and the guide profiles in an 85 × 215 mm carton; mounting brackets, springs and zip profiles are included. The installation video and technical catalogue are below.

You do not have to buy zip screens from us only as knock-down systems. Manufacturers with the capacity to cut and assemble in their own workshop can also buy Zipline Neo and Zipline Sky-S as stock-length profiles and accessories: you do the manufacturing, we supply the system and the technical support.

How large can a roof zip screen be?
Zipline Sky-S is made up to 24 m² in one piece, with a maximum width of 6000 mm and a maximum projection of 6000 mm. Larger glass roofs and pergolas are covered with several screens.
Does rainwater collect on a roof screen?
No. With a waterproof fabric the smart drainage in the bottom profile sheds water at the edge, and the spring tensioning keeps the fabric taut so no pool forms in the middle.
Can it be fitted to a sloping roof?
Yes, Sky-S works on flat roofs and on any slope; the zipped edge and spring system keep the fabric taut at every angle.
Can zip screens be used in vertical and roof applications?
