Sliding Glass Balcony Systems
With wide panels, a clean look and rail-guided movement, sliding glass is the preferred enclosure for winter gardens, terraces and restaurants. Albert Genau removed the insulation and corner drawbacks of sliding systems with SlideMaster and SliderNext.
In conventional sliding glazing the corners are closed with a fixed profile, the outer surfaces cannot be cleaned because the panels are linked, and insulation is weak. Albert Genau sliding systems open L- and U-shaped corners completely with their side-panel profiles; panels separate and park independently; and the three-dimensional brush and gasket layout with the insulated-glass option insulates up to 4.3 times better than single glass.

ViewHow wide can the panels of a sliding glass balcony be?
Panels are up to 1.5 metres wide in both SlideMaster and SliderNext. Wider panels mean fewer vertical profiles and a less interrupted view.
Can a sliding glass balcony use insulated glass?
Yes. Both SlideMaster and SliderNext can be made with 4+12+4 insulated glass, giving up to 4.3 times the thermal insulation of single glass.
How is the outside of the sliding glass cleaned?
In Albert Genau sliding systems the panels separate and can be positioned individually, so every pane can be cleaned inside and out from within the balcony.
