Balustrade & Railing Systems
The balustrade below a glass balcony and the glass railing on a terrace, stair or balcony are the most visible parts of a façade. Albert Genau offers the insulated-glass Balumax balustrade, fully integrated with balcony glazing, and the European-certified Linera all-glass railing.
Balumax is the first and only insulated-glass balustrade designed in Türkiye to integrate with balcony glazing: its upper profile is made for folding and sliding glass balconies, and its smart drainage carries water from the glazing out through stepped pooling. Linera is a patented all-glass railing certified by Istituto Giordano that withstands loads of 3.4 kN and 50 kg impacts; it is surface-, face- or ground-mounted and installed from inside the balcony without scaffolding.

16.76–21.52 mm laminated glass, panels up to 1,300 mm high, ±20 mm glass alignment kit, optional Smart Clamp wind reinforcement, LED-ready cap rail.
ViewWhy do I need an insulated-glass balustrade?
If you install insulated balcony glazing but the balustrade below stays single-glazed, the insulation chain is broken. Balumax offers a balustrade with the same 28 mm glass as the glazing, so the whole balcony is equally insulated.
Is the Linera glass railing safe?
Linera has passed 3.4 kN horizontal load and 50 kg impact tests at independent European institutes, is certified by Istituto Giordano and patented; with tempered and laminated glass options it suits residential, hotel and stadium applications.
