GLR-63 Insulated Bi-Fold System
Opening wide spans to the living space through controlled folding, GLR-63 combines a top-hung mechanism, robust profiles and reliable insulation to create a flexible transition between living room and garden.
In GLR-63 the sash load is carried by the top frame: the bottom sill only guides, so pressure and wear are reduced and the floor detail stays slim. With 29×60 mm frame and 73×60 mm sash profiles it carries 80 kg per sash; sashes stack at 45° and the frame at 90°. The insulated profile keeps indoor comfort across expansive glass; sash count and stacking direction are planned per project.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between top-hung and bottom-running bi-folds?
In the top-hung GLR-63 the load is in the top frame and the sill is slim, almost flush; in the bottom-running GLR-64 the load is on the floor track, sash capacity is higher (120 kg) and the top frame is light. GLR-64 is preferred for large, heavy-glazed sashes, GLR-63 for flush passage.
How many sashes are possible?
2–7 sashes depending on the span, stacking to one side or both. Sash width is calculated against the 80 kg weight limit.
