GLR-64 Insulated Bi-Fold System
With a bottom-running carrier mechanism, a 120 kg sash capacity and insulated profiles, GLR-64 turns wide openings into a robust and reliable folding transition.
GLR-64 is the bi-fold system that transfers the sash weight to the floor through carrier bearings attached to the bottom frame; horizontal guide bearings at the top only steer. With 29×86 mm frame and 76×76 mm sash profiles it carries 120 kg per sash — the stronger option compared with GLR-63 for tall sashes with thick double glazing. Sashes stack at 45° and the frame at 90°; the insulated profile keeps indoor comfort across expansive glass.

Frequently asked questions
Does dirt collect in the bottom track?
The track profile is drained and brushed; regular sweeping is enough. As the sill is 86 mm high, the outside floor level should be planned accordingly.
What glass thickness does GLR-64 take?
Grande bi-fold systems use standard double glazing; thickness and combination (e.g. 6+16+6) are set at the dealer's survey according to the project's insulation target.
