Tiktak Daylight is designed to operate with optional 10 mm or 20 mm gaps, giving control over both sunlight and airflow: you decide with a single touch at which angle the sun enters your home.
The slats of the Tiktak Daylight are linked by end plugs spaced at 10 mm or 20 mm; lift the shutter one notch and the slats part by that much, letting daylight filter through. Fully lowered they close up and black out the room like a conventional shutter. The thin slats mean a small coil diameter, so the system also fits existing boxes.

Designed for architects and façade projects, these external sun louvre shutters deliver both aesthetics and energy efficiency for offices, plazas and villas. As a manufacturer, we supply our dealers with knock-down systems and wholesale terms.
The slim 50 mm high, 13 mm thick slats of Daylight are linked by galvanised steel side locks. The locks come with a 10 mm or 20 mm spacing: raised one notch, the slats open by that amount and daylight filters through the gaps; fully lowered, the slats close. The slim slat means a small winding diameter, so the system also fits existing shutter boxes.

A sun louvre shutter is a movable shutter with an adjustable slat angle that lets light in while keeping the sun and heat out.
10 mm gaps give more privacy and shade, 20 mm gaps more light and ventilation. The choice is made in production with the side lock; our authorised dealer advises according to the orientation of the façade.
On Orient the slats tilt up to 60°; Daylight uses slim slats with fixed 10 or 20 mm gaps and has the smallest winding diameter; Airlight 30 uses 30 mm slats with 50 mm ventilation slots and spans up to 4 m. Orient and Daylight are installed with front-mounted and built-in boxes, Airlight 30 also with monoblock boxes.
The recommended limit is 2000 mm wide and 2400 mm high. The slat is 50 × 13 mm extruded aluminium; for wider openings, Airlight 30, which reaches 4000 mm with its 30 mm double-walled slat, is used.
No. When the slats are fully lowered the gap closes and the room is blacked out; ventilation happens in the intermediate positions where the slats part by 10 or 20 mm. Where the light has to be tuned storey by storey, an external venetian, which takes a separate slat angle at every height, is preferred.
How all six models behave for slat movement and blackout is in the sun louvre comparison.
