Balumax Insulated-Glass Balustrade System
Balumax is the first and only insulated-glass balustrade designed in Türkiye to integrate with balcony glazing: it brings the elegance of a glass balustrade together with insulation. With the same 28 mm glass as the balcony glazing, it makes the whole balcony equally insulated.
Albert Genau took balcony insulation a step further with insulated balcony glazing; with Balumax it brings the balustrade of the liveable balcony to the same level. The upper profile is designed specifically for folding and sliding balcony glazing, and the smart drainage removes water from the glazing continuously through stepped pooling. An indispensable choice of architects and contractors for years.

Balcony glazing integration
The Balumax upper profile is designed for both folding and sliding balcony glazing; glazing and balustrade work as a single façade system. One balustrade post per two glazing panels — aligned vertical lines from outside.
Suitable for every balcony and building
Thanks to the special 90° corner profile the insulated balustrade is applied without problems on L-, U-shaped and curved balconies; no visible double-glazing beads at the corners, the façade aesthetics are preserved.
Double-layer sealing
Water and dust sealing with specially designed EPDM locked and plug-in gaskets at the glass-profile joints.
Safety first: block mounting
The glass is not fixed with beads but slid into the top-guided profile as a block; suits 8, 10, 12 and 28 mm glass without an extra profile.

8, 10, 12 and 28 mm (insulated). The upper profile suits every thickness without an extra profile.
Can Balumax be fitted to my existing balcony?
Yes; but the best result is achieved when it is designed together with the balcony glazing. The existing railing, slab and glazing are assessed at the dealer's survey.
What is the difference between Balumax and Balumax Int?
Balumax is the stand-alone insulated balustrade; Balumax Int is the version fully integrated with the balcony glazing in terms of post alignment and drainage.
