Centrum Central-Carrier Glass Wall
Centrum is the system in which the panels move independently on a central carrier. A flexible partition solution for curved façades, irregular layouts and openings where the panels need to gather in both directions.
The central carrier profile takes the weight of the panels on the axis and gives them freedom to move in both directions; the panels are fixed at any point with the floor lock. There is no floor track and panel heights reach 3.3 m. Because the whole sliding glass wall family shares the same carrier profile, Centrum can be combined with Atrium and Momentum in the same project.
Independent panels on a central carrier
Each panel travels independently on the central axis; on curved and angled plans the panels follow the façade.
Curved façades and terrace enclosures
Semi-circular façades in hotel lobbies, restaurant terraces or homes: Centrum offers a threshold-free, continuous glass wall even on non-linear geometries.
Sliding glass wall technology
150 kg panels, feather-light movement
Thanks to the Quattro HD roller system, huge glass panels move with minimal friction; each roller carries 150 kg.
Locking without bending
The locks under the panels are opened and closed with a light touch of the toe; the easy floor lock fixes the panel in place.
Pin security and four-season protection
The glass is held by eccentric glass pins in addition to adhesive; EPDM gaskets in the side profiles and brushes top and bottom keep out wind, dust and noise.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a threshold or track in the floor?
No. The system is top-hung; the floor only has small lock sockets. The floor stays completely flat and passage is unobstructed.
Are the large glass panels hard to move?
No. With the Quattro HD roller system the panels move with very low friction, with one hand.
Is there a risk of the glass falling?
The panels are carried by eccentric glass pins, not just adhesive; the mechanical locking physically prevents the glass from leaving the profile.
Will the system rust over time?
All mechanical and accessory components are made of corrosion-resistant materials and covered by the corrosion warranty.
